Meyer Eats - Easy Egg Bake!
Looking for a quick and delicious way to use some of your farm-fresh eggs. Make an Easy Egg Bake! Watch to learn how to make this tasty breakfast treat!
Ingredients needed: 6-8 large eggs scrambled, 1/2 of your favorite shredded cheese (you can add more or less), cooked and chopped vegetables (optional), chopped and cooked breakfast meat (optional), 1 sheet of thaw puffed pastry.
After assembling your Easy Egg Bake, bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

We are new to having our own chickens & we opted to try the Homestead Helper option offered by Meyer Hatchery & we are interested in maintaining our own flock. Being in North East Ohio, we chose Buckeyes for a few reason & the history of them I find VERY COOL !!!! This year, we went to our County Fair & had a great time as always but we were disappointed that no one entered Buckeyes … so I’m looking into maybe entering one of ours next year 😊 !!

I thought chickens on their back couldn’t breath
Thank you for watching and for mentioning this important handling tip! You can flip the birds when checking them over or providing care, but they should not be laid on their back or held on their back for an extended amount of time. If you need to flip the bird over, you should work quickly to help minimize any stress to the bird.💖
The humidity here in Hawaii is HORRIBLE for storing feed! Everything gets moldy too quick!

I can't believe it's made of styrofoam at that price point. How long does it actually last for? Is it worth the cost or are there better options?
Thank you for asking! The styrofoam will hold up for many years with proper care, and this model is covered by a one year manufacturer warranty. This is a very good, value priced option to consider, for it's capacity and ease of use.
Not sure what I did wrong, it tasted more like egg salad, yokey texture. It was good enough to eat by the spoonful though. lol

What’s the typical age for a cookies and cream hen? I recently got one in June, but can’t find any info on when to expect her first egg. I love my cookies and cream chicken!

One of my favorite mayo substitute is blending 1 cup cream cheese and 5 hard boiled eggs. That's it. So yummy. I can eat it by the spoonful. You can add seasonings if you want.
